Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 6002 Lyons Avenue about 5:10 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 15).
The victim, Patrick Borrego, 40, of Pasadena, suffered sharp force wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. M. De La Cruz and Senior Police Officer X. E. Avila reported:
Northeast Patrol Division officers responded to a person down call and found Mr. Borrego in the parking lot of the 7 Rojo Bar. He was then taken to the hospital by HFD emergency personnel.
At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
