Vancouver Police Missing Persons detectives are asking for public assistance to locate a missing 59 year old woman.Maggie Leighton is Aboriginal, 5’4” and 100 lbs., with black shoulder-length hair, often worn in a bun, and brown eyes. She was wearing jeans, a t-shirt and a black jacket.
Maggie was last seen at about 2:00 p.m. on January 17th at the corner of Broadway and Commercial. She can become easily confused and disoriented and as she is new to Vancouver, her knowledge of the city is limited.
If anyone sees Maggie, they are asked to stay with her and call 9-1-1 immediately to ask for police and ambulance to attend.
