On January 16th, 2011 at 9:24 pm, Prince George RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter in progress in the 2800 block of Pine Street in Prince George. Officers attended the area immediately, locating and arresting a male exiting the residence.

Upon further investigation, officers believe that two masked males forcibly entered the residence and produced a large edged weapon in an effort to locate one of the residents. One male was arrested at the scene, while a second male eluded police. Motive for the attack is not known, however this was a targeted attack and the accused and one of the residents are known to each other.

Three persons were in the residence at the time, but none were physically harmed.

Provincial Crown Counsel has approved charges of Break & Enter, Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Breach of Undertaking, against Jeffrey Austin THERIAULT, an 18 year old resident of Prince George. THERIAULT is scheduled to appear in Prince George Provincial Court on February 1st, 2011.

Prince George RCMP know THERIAULT to be a member of the Game Tight Soldiers street gang. No description of the second suspect was provided to police.
