RCMP have identified the victim of a fatal collision that occurred on Route 11 in Charlo, N.B., around 7:30 p.m. on February 22, 2011.
56-year-old Placide Francoeur, of Belledune, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Chevrolet Lumina he was driving crossed the centre and struck a transport truck.
Mr. Francoeur was not wearing a seatbelt. It appears alcohol was also a factor in the crash.
