RCMP responded to a 911 call at 1:10pm today to a call of a house fire on Pleasure Cove Rd in Pugwash.
On arrival at the scene officers found that the kitchen and living room of the home sustained fire damage. A 45 year-old Pugwash man was found deceased in the residence.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. RCMP and the Fire Marshall’s office are investigating to determine whether the fire was suspicious in nature.
