Bruno Boudreau jailed for child pornography, Tracadie-Sheila, N.B

On Friday, March 4, 2011, 33-year-old Bruno Boudreau, of Tracadie-Sheila, appeared in Tracadie-Sheila Provincial Court and was sentenced to ten months in jail, after having previously pleaded guilty to two charges of possession of child pornography.

Boudreau will also be required to complete two years of supervised probation, must register with the National Sex Offender Registry for ten years and, for a period of five years, must keep away from any public place where children are present.

The investigation concerning Mr. Boudreau began in May 2009. On August 13, 2009, a search warrant was executed at his residence and several computer-related items were seized.
