Favourite Teams winning streak CPL Predictions 2019,

CPL 2019 kicked off on 4th September 2019 with Trinbago Knight Riders taking on St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the opening game of the season. 6 matches have been played till 8th September and CPL predictions for favourite teams to win have all been correct.

In the recent times, the dynamic nature of T20 cricket has made it difficult to predict the outcome of a match unless it seems fairly one-sided. A number of matches in the T20 Blast league this year saw the underdogs winning with clinical performances.

TKR and GAW Winning Streak

Guyana Amazon Warriors and reigning champions Trinbago Knight Riders are unbeaten so far in CPL 2019. Their journey has been consistent with CPL predictions that have all been in their favour. Guyana’s batting stats have improved since their first game.

After 155-9 batting first in the opening game, Guyana has chased 154 (with 8 wickets in hand) and scored 180-4 batting first in the last 2 matches. Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran and Chandrapaul Hemraj have scored a fifty each making Guyana’s batting prospects stronger.

Trinbago Knight Riders also have been on a similar batting graph for last 3 matches. In their opening game, the top-order failed while Pollard and James Neesham in the middle helped the side reach a decent total. In the next two games, Lendl Simmons, Tion Webster and Denesh Ramdin score a fifty each for Trinbago.

Trinbago will be playing Jamaica Tallawahs in their next CPL match. Predictions for TKR vs JT at this point seem clearly in the former’s favour. However, Jamaica Tallawahs will be playing against SNP and SLZ before their home game against Trinbago.

Will Jamaica Tallawahs make a comeback?

Jamaica’s performance in these two matches would be a key element in the CPL predictions. Jamaica’s first game was against TKR where their top order didn’t perform as expected leaving a lot of work to the middle-order. George Worker and Andre Russell played well for their 46 and 44.

However, coming back from 93-4 in 13 overs while chasing 192 runs is a less likely event. With players like Chris Gayle, Glen Phillips, and Chadwick Walton in top 3, Jamaica Tallawahs have a high chances of bouncing back in their next two CPL matches. Predictions around these matches will be interesting to follow.

Whether cricket betting gurus and prediction experts back Jamaica Tallawahs to defeat Trinbago Knight Riders will be influenced by JT’s top-order performances against SNP and SLZ.

Zouks and Patriots awaiting first win

Both SLZ and SNP have lost 2 matches so far this season. SNP failed to chase 153 runs in their first match while failing to chase the same in their second. St Lucia Zouks haven’t been in great form either. They’ve lost chasing 156 and defending 167 runs in their last 2 matches While 167 and below have been defended in CPL 2019 so far, it is not a par total to defend against Trnbago Knight Riders. Both SLZ and SNP will face Jamaica Tallawahs in their next CPL fixture.

CPL predictions will be on the rise in lead up to the match between Jamaica Tallawahs and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Presently, home team, Jamaica Tallawahs are clear favourites for most of the CPL 9th match predictions. The winning trend so far is inclined completely towards the favourite teams. Will this game witness a shift in tide and the away team rise to victory, only time will tell. Until then, the match insights offered by CPL predictions allow to look for different match possibilities.
