Buffalo SabresBuffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forward Corey Tropp has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. 

Tropp (6’0″, 195 lbs., 7/25/89) joins the Sabres on his second career recall after dressing for the team for four games from Nov. 4 to Nov. 11, 2011. In those four games in Buffalo, he recorded his first career goal and added an assist. 

Tropp has seven points (4+3) in 11 games with Rochester this season. He spent 2010-11 in Portland, posting 40 points (10+30) in his first professional season. 

Tropp was selected by the Sabres in the third round (89th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
