Chicago Black Hawks thrash Ottawa Senators
Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Seth Jones believes that his recent offensive production is not complicated. He attributes his success to being streaky, where sometimes his shots go in and sometimes they do not.
However, in the game against the Ottawa Senators on Monday night, his shots were finding the net. Jones scored two of Chicago’s three goals in the second period, helping the team to a 5-0 victory over the Senators, who had won their previous five games.
Along with Jones, Anders Bjork had three primary assists, Alex Stalock made 35 saves for his 11th career shutout, and Lukas Reichel, Phillipp Kurashev, and Jason Dickinson also scored for the Blackhawks.
Despite the loss, the Senators remain in contention for a playoff spot.
