2012 Championships at Wimbledon on Tuesday has made light upsets that highlighted Day 1 at the All England Club. The likes of No. 2 Rafael Nadal, No. 4 Andy Murray and No. 5 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on the men's draw, and No. 2 Victoria Azarenka, No. 4 Petra Kvitova and No. 6 Serena Williams on the women's draw all advanced with straight-set victories.

Surprisingly, Nadal may have faced difficulty as he fell behind 3-0 in the first set against Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil before coming back to win the tiebreak and ultimately the match, 7-6 (7-0), 6-2, 6-3.

Andy Murray took down No. 47 Nikolay Davydenko, 6-1, 6-1, 6-4, at Centre Court.

No.12 Mardy Fish defeated Spanish, Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo as they went to two tiebreakers with 7(7)-6(3), 7-5, 7(7)-6(1).

On women's side Victoria Azarenka eliminated American Irina Falconi, 6-1, 6-4, on Court No. 1.

Williams, who encountered a first-round upset loss at the French Open, advances successfully in Wimbledon with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Barbora Zahlahova.

A few upsets on Day 2 includes the loss of No.19 Lucie Safarova in the women's bracket, while No.14 Feliciano Lopez and No.20 Bernard Tomic were eliminated from the men's draw.

No. 28 Bernard Tomic joined former Wimbledon champion and fellow Australian Lleyton Hewitt on the way out. Hewitt fell in straight sets to Tsonga, while Tomic broke two racquets and followed a four-set loss to David Goffin. With these eliminations, Australia will not have a male representative in the second round at Wimbledon for the first time since 1938.

A few matches get suspended due to bad light at the All England Club. No. 25 Andy Roddick took his first set against Jamie Baker, 7-6 (8), and will begin Wednesday receiving serve up 4-2 in the second set. No. 7 Caroline Wozniacki will start with the serve Wednesday tied 2-2 in the first set against Tamira Paszek of Austria.

Today, the Centre Court has two stars to watch starting at 1 p.m. Roger Federer will face Fabio Fognini, while Novak Djokovic will battle American Ryan Harrison.

Within the women's bracket, former No. 1 Kim Clijsters will compete against Andrea Hlavackova after an impressive opening-round win over Jelena Jankovic.

Li Na is another healthy competitor and she will battle Sorana Cirstea at 11:30 a.m. in a solid battle.
