Friday will prove to be another exciting day at All England Club as Wimbledon 2012 men’s semi-finals are scheduled for today.

On Thursday, women’s semifinal on Wimbledon’s Centre Court promised to deliver an interesting match between Serena Williams and the reigning Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka. Williams with her blasting a record 24 aces stood victorious with 6-3, 7-6 (8-6) and moved a step closer to her fifth Wimbledon championship.

Poland’s Agnieszka Radwanska has also advanced to her first Grand Slam final by dismissing Germany’s Angelique Kerber, 6-3, 6-4, earlier on Thursday. Radwanska will face Williams on Saturday to play the final match for the Wimbledon 2012 title.

Williams has an edge over Radwanska as she holds a 2-0 record against her, Wimbledon’s 2005 junior girls champion. But the two haven’t faced each other since 2008, when the Pole was just 19. Since then, the third-ranked Radwanska has grown into a steady, composed player despite her young age, known for keeping her errors to a minimum and pouncing on opportunities when they arise.

 2012 Wimbledon men’s singles semi-finals clash will begin today at Centre Court, where World No.1 Novak Djokovic will face former Wimbledon Champion Roger Federer and Britain top seed Andy Murray will meet Frenchman Tsonga.

The match between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic is going to be an epic match at the All England Club, as it is considered to be the toughest match of the tournament. Federer owns a 14-12 career record against Djokovic, but unfortunately he has lost six of their last seven matchups, including at the Australian Open, French Open and U.S. Open last year and this year's French Open. Both the players will have to play hard to reach 2012 Wimbledon Championship final, where the winner will meet either Andy Murray or Tsonga on Sunday on Centre Court.

Within the men’s second semi-final, the embattled world No. 4 Murray, gunning for his first Grand Slam singles’ title against Tsonga. Murray has a favoring 5-1 record against the Frenchman. He also beat him in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon 2010 in four sets.
