The 69th Tour de Poland starts from July 10, 2012 in the southwest of Poland, in Karpacz. There are seven stages has been scheduled, from July 10th to the 16th, 2012, from Karpacz to Krakow, for a thrilling, 1230-kilometre long exciting activity, with an instantaneously challenging mountain stage.
In the past years Karpacz city has hosted the crucial ending stage in determining the sorts of the Tour de Poland but for a change this year it welcomes the riders for the start of the Tour. Last year winner Peter Sagan, is not playing this year. The rider of Liquigas this year has selected for the Tour de France to show the world his abilities.
Each round the riders have to scale to the peak of the Karpacz Orlinek, a first category climb with 380 altimeters in 8.3km (4.5% average). A group sprint with about fifty cyclers is a good possibility. It’s only the question which team is going to be in charge of the race in the final. In advance there seems to be no top choice for the general classification.
There are a total of 179.5 km expected for the route, starting from Hotel Golebiewski in Karpacz and arriving in the centre of Jelenia Gora. Right away the group can expect a highly stunning division, with an exhausting, 39.2- km circuit to be repeated four times.
