Pakistan got able to survive its second inning at stumps on day 4 with 299/8 with a lead of 188 runs.

Azhar Ali smashed a second century in successive matches Wednesday to leave the final Test against Sri Lanka poised for an intriguing finish and made 136 runs. Asad Shafiq was on 55 not out and Adnan Akmal was accompanying him without opening his account.

From Sri Lanka, Herath did the main damage by taking 4 wickets for 64 runs including the important wickets of Younis and Misbah. While Fernando finished with 3-65.

Sri Lanka has a real chance of winning the three test series. They are leading the series by 1-0 by winning the first Test in Galle by 209 runs before the second in Colombo was drawn. If this test match draw, Pakistan will loss the series.
