Stage 11 has High mountains with a total 2,067m high point over a distance of 148km, it schedule from Albertville to La Toussuire-Les Sybelles.
This steep mountain weary track becomes very tough for riders however, in others words you are also describe as it could be not easy to win on this track than to lose. The riders will face perhaps the most difficult stage of the entire Tour on this day, the cyclists should better bring their oxygen masks as they will be breathless at some of the highest altitudes they will face in any stage.
Stage 11 is the shortest one of the tour that However, at the end of stage the riders feeling like it is a long trip around the world because of abrupt grades.
The stage begins from Albertville, a town that has hosted only one preceding stage but has frequently seen the Tour pass through its streets. Then, the riders will be strike with a scale up to a 2 km high crest known as Col de la Madeleine. Plummeting down over 1.5 km, the riders will then be strained to make another mount, this time to 2.07 km, as if this peak needed to best its earlier complement. Finally, the stage will end in La Toussuire – Les Sybelles, finishing the final 20 km with yet another steep incline. The finish will disclose that who will be the real top contenders.
