Once again, USA was escorted by Destinee Hooker with 21 points also Jordan Larson an outside hitter scored 16 points. USA had 15 blocks as compared to Korea’s only 1. Even though Korea lost this match but one of the world’s top player Kim Yeon Koung had another stunning performance with 29 points.

Presumably the most thrilling game until now in the Olympics, defending champion Brazil survived a thriller from the first-time Olympians Turkey in five gruelling sets, 25-18, 23-25, 25-19, 27-29, 15-12.
