A friendly game will take place between Den Haag vs. Newcastle on August 4, 2012 at the Kyocera Stadium in the Netherlands.
Shane Ferguson remains unavailable due to injury but Dan Gosling has recovered after limping off against Olympiakos in Faro and is incorporated in the squad.
Neither Nile Ranger nor Xisco have been sighted in any of the pre-season games. However, the game makes out a return to his hometown for Tim Krul, who turned down a professional deal with Den Haag.Den Haag will be looking to improve on last season's performance, when they finished fifteenth in the 18 team Eredivisie and avoided the end of season relegation play off by a single point and place.
Some modest pre-season preparations have seen ADO record four away wins against few Dutch clubs, two routs of non-league sides, plus a 2-1 win over a Third Division side and a 3-2 win over a second-tier outfit. Their sole defeat to date came against Belgian top-flight side KV Kortrijk – losing 1-2 – and most recently, they beat Second Division side Volendam 2-1 on Wednesday.
Newcastle are the favorites in this match and while Den Haag recent performance looks not so well in this season so let’s see how they tackle each other.
