China has gone 3-1 so far in the preliminary round, with the only loss coming against Turkey by 82-55.
America is winning its stints by an average score of 29 points and beaten Turkey by 31 points when the two met two games ago. Those facts are threatening to say about the real difference but China has a chance considering the team had previously uplifted from those situations.
Taurasi has been an active part of US squad so far in London, but she played exceptionally well against the Czech Republic in the last game.
The Chinese captain has been putting on a striking Olympics performance of her own so far, scoring 72 points through the first four contests for her team. She has been dominant in every game so far, even against Turkey where her team was in no position to win but she on her own struggling for the points.
The US team is on the top of the table and with the winning streak that they are having so far Chinese needs to plan something exceptional from out of the box. USA is likely to dominate throughout this game.
