The 2012 IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders are to open their Champions League T20 2012 campaign against Delhi Daredevils at the SuperSport Park in Centurion, South Africa today, October 13, 2012.
The two rivals Kolkata Knight Riders and the Delhi Daredevils are being matched up in the same group. Both teams possess big performing names with the bat who serve as sole match winners with their beautiful handling of the bats. Kevin Pietersen has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons in the last few months but he is back playing cricket and will be in the deadly Delhi batting list. Pietersen was the 3rd highest run scorer at the IPL 2012 with 305 runs in 8 matches and Delhi will be a favorite in case their top four get able to perform.
