Mumbai Indians will play against Yorkshire tonight in a Group B fixture of the Champions League T20 2012 at the Newlands, Cape Town, with both the teams looking to grab a victory to score some points on the table.
Both the teams have suffered heavy defeats in their first group stage clash and all set to win this encounter in order to make their chances for advancing into the semi-finals strong.
MI are regarded as favorites against the English outfit due to having more experienced batting line-up, which runs quite deep. Spectators would be expecting much from Sachin Tendulkar who has been going through a lean patch for the last one year. He will be a key player to lead Mumbai Indians towards a win. The bowling department has many shortfalls as it was their main reason of losing the last match with the likes of Harbhajan Singh and Pragyan Ojha leaking too many runs. Their batting line-up is inexperienced but has potential. The openers Andrew Gale and Phil Jaques have to play sensibly by building easiness for the middle order. Within bowling, Ryan Sidebottom can make the ball swing. With the likes of Adil Rashid and Azeem Rafiq would devise a good combination for the middle order.
