In the field hockey, on Tuesday December 4th 2012, Belgium is taking on Netherland in a Champion Trophy Hockey tournament at State Netball Hockey Centre, Melbourne, Australia.
Belgium has lost their both of the opening matches and didn’t initiate any score yet. Belgium has played their first match of Champion Trophy against Australia, which won by Aussies very easily by 4-2. In the second match they yet again lot to Pakistan by 2-0. First half was the slow one as no team was able to score any goal but in second half Pakistan was overcome Belgium by scoring 2 goals, first in the 15th minutes of second half and 2nd one just 45 seconds left in ending the match.
On the other hand, Netherland are unbeaten in the Champions Trophy, first match was comprehensively won by 3-1. The second they played against Aussies, which lead to the draw where no one able to score any goal. The goalkeeper Jaap Stockmann was the key player of the match for the Dutch. His athletic saves single-handedly blocked the Australian offensive attack, almost 10 times. This is the 8th game that been scoreless in Champions Trophy history.
Belgium still unable to have any score on the table while Netherland still unbeaten in the group matches so it looks to be an easy win for Dutch for staying on top of the table in their group.
