China’s spirited shuttler Du Pengyu remained unbeaten in the group stage of BWF Superseries Finals and made his way to main draw of Men’s Singles event after defeating Boonsak Ponsana of Thailand after ab entertaining three sets match with 24-22, 21-23 and 21-8.

Women’s Singles expert Wang Shixian kept her winning streak ensured her presence in the main draw after beating Eriko Hirose of Japan in her last encounter with 21-15, 8-21 and 21-15 margin. 

China’s lanky player and World No.2, Li Xuerui entertained her home crowd by defeating Korea’s impressive player Sung Ji Hyun in Women’s Singles in just 30 minutes with a large margin of 21-9 and 21-12.

Japan’s elite players and second seeds in Men’s Doubles, Hiroyuki Endo and Kenichi Hayakawa continued their winning pace in Men’s Doubles Group B after defeating Thailand’s Bodin Issara and Maneepong Jongjit in mere 18 minutes with an incredible margin of 21-11 and 21-9.

Denmark’s Mixed Doubles players Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen continued their unbeatable pace in group stage by beating Muhammad Rijal-Debby Susanto of Indonesia in a Group B match with concluding figures of 21-16 and 21-16.
