New Zealand will face England once again in the 2nd T20 of the three match series in Hamilton on 12th February.
England would be feeling high after Auckland win and would be looking to seal the series with a consecutive victory in 2nd match to seal the series in their favor. The tourists batted well in the opening match and contributed quick runs to a record 1st innings grand total for the side. Stuart Broad team’s victory in Auckland was the best of his 15-match tenure as leader in this format as the team managed to smash 15 sixes. Broad took four wickets to pass Graeme Swann as record wicket-taker. Each of the top six batsmen contributed with the bat at strike rates of 170 or more. The likely English lineup will include: 1 Michael Lumb, 2 Alex Hales, 3 Luke Wright, 4 Jonny Bairstow, 5 Joe Root, 6 Jos Buttler (wk), 7 Samit Patel, 8 Stuart Broad (capt), 9 James Tredwell, 10 Steven Finn, 11 Jade Dernbach.
New Zealand on the other hand needs to pull up their socks and play to save the series by leveling it with 1-1. The Black Caps hold a good record in Hamilton by winning four of their last five clashed there. Their bowling attack was feeble in Auckland but the return of all-rounder Ian Butler would add strength to the team, while their batting line-up showed that they are capable of big scores as they made174 in Auckland during the weekend.
