After getting a lead of 2-1 after third ODI, South Africa is looking forward to seal the series on Thursday against Pakistan in the 4th ODI at Kingsmead cricket ground, Durban.

It is a do or die situation for Pakistan as a loss would result in South Africa’s winning the series but a victory would leave the decision at the final ODI in Benoni. There are many issues regarding consistency and injuries for the Pakistan bowlers so it is key their best bowler Saeed Ajmal steps up despite the conditions not suiting him. Umar Gul and Mohammad Irfan’s availability is crucial for Pakistan while tourists have included Sohail Tanvir in the playing eleven. The likely Pakistani lineup will include: 1 Nasir Jamshed, 2 Mohammad Hafeez, 3 Kamran Akmal, 4 Younis Khan, 5 Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), , 6 Shoaib Malik, 7 Shahid Afridi, 8 Umar Gul/Wahab Riaz, 9 Saeed Ajmal, 10 Junaid Khan, 11 Mohammad Irfan/Sohail Tanvir.

The Johannsesburg match did not fail to disappoint with a batting master class from Hashim Amla, AB De Villiers and Shahid Afridi but South African batting side proved stronger on the night. Graeme Smith has had a poor series to his standards till now and will be hoping to come back in form at Durban to help he hosts in securing the series before the final ODI. Faf du Plessis will not be able to play the remaining ODI matches against Pakistan due to lower back problem. The probable South African squad will include: 1 Graeme Smith, 2 Hashim Amla, 3 Colin Ingram, 4 AB de Villiers (capt & wk), 5 David Miller/Quinton de Kock, 6 Farhaan Behardien, 7 Ryan McLaren, 8 Robin Peterson, 9 Dale Steyn, 10 Kyle Abbott/Rory Kleinveldt, 11 Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
