Finnish Open 2013 tournament will start from April 4 in Energia Areena, Rajatorpantie 23, FIN-01600 Vantaa
This tournament has been arranged 15 times before. The opening Finnish Open was held in Helsinki in 1990. The tournament has also been arranged under the names Finnish Open International and Finnish International Championships. Between 1990 and 2008 Helsinki had hosted it in Ruskeasuo sports hall. Since 2009 the tournament has been organized in the neighboring city of Vantaa.
Last year, the English player Rajiv Ouseph won in Men’s singles draw. While Jie Yao of Nederland won the Woman’s singles draw.
