After the ball tempering controversy in the second and final Test clash, the tour moves to the limited overs phase where South Africa and Pakistan will play their 1st of the five ODIs in Sharjah on Wenesday.

According to statistics, South Africa have never lost to Pakistan in a bilateral series despite Pakistan coming close on many occasions. All eyes will be on Faf du Plessis that how he behaves after his proven involvement in ball tampering scandal and will be looking to get back into the swing of things and scoring runs. The likely South African squad will include: 1 Colin Ingram/Quinton de Kock, 2 Graeme Smith, 3 JP Duminy, 4 AB de Villiers (capt), 5 Faf du Plessis, 6 David Miller, 7 Wayne Parnell, 8 Ryan McLaren, 9 Robin Peterson, 10 Morne Morkel, 11 Lonwabo Tsotsobe.

On the other hand, Pakistan is all set to taste some victory in a bilateral series against South Africa. Sohail Tanvir is going to have a massive job with the ball and will be required by his side to get early wickets as South Africa are remarkably strong in ODIs. Also, Umar Akmal is brought back in the squad after missing the Zimbabwe series. The probable Pakistani lineup will include: 1 Nasir Jamshed, 2 Ahmed Shehzad, 3 Mohammad Hafeez, 4 Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), 5 Umar Akmal (wk), 6 Asad Shafiq, 7 Shahid Afridi, 8 Saeed Ajmal, 9 Sohail Tanvir, 10 Junaid Khan, 11 Mohammad Irfan.
