Handball players are dreaming of 2025 World Cup

The Dutch women’s handball team, which won the 2019 world championship, is already looking forward to the 2025 World Cup, which will be held in Rotterdam’s Ahoy arena in the Netherlands. The players are excited about the possibility of winning another medal, including team veterans Laura van der Heijden and Lois Abbingh.

Coach Per Johansson believes that the team’s current core of experienced players will be crucial in the upcoming tournament, but he also hopes that younger players such as Dione Housheer, Larissa Nusser and Kelly Dulfer will emerge as key players in the future.

The Dutch team is hoping to repeat its success at the upcoming World Cup, which will be followed by qualification for the Olympic Games. The Dutch Handball Association is supported by Germany in organizing the 2025 World Cup, which will be held in the Ahoy arena, a venue that has a capacity of 10,000 spectators.
