Israeli judokas not to World Cup due to closed airspace after conflict with Iran

As a result of the armed conflict of Israel and Iran, it is not possible for several Israeli judokas to travel to the World Cup in Budapest now that the airspace above their country is closed.

Raz Hershko, among others, is missing. The winner of Olympic Silver, World Cup bronze and European Championship-Gold was considered a contender in the class above 78 kilograms, in which the Dutch also come out Marit Kamps and Karen Stevenson.

IMBAL Smemesh, who would take action in the class up to 63 kilograms on Monday, did not travel to Hungary. Due to the names of Adelina Novitsky (-70 kg), Lanir Inbar (-78 kg) and iosif Simin (-100 kg) there is no line yet, but most likely the three of the World Cup must also miss the World Cup.
