Vancouver Whitecaps FCVancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that they have acquired a conditional pick in the 2013 draft from Major League Soccer rivals Real Salt Lake in exchange for the MLS rights to defender Chris Estridge. 
    
Whitecaps FC selected Estridge with the second pick in the second round (21st overall) of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft. A product of Indiana University, the right fullback took part in the early stages of preseason with Whitecaps FC before he was released from camp on February 18.
