Character actor Michael Sommers, who recently appeared in the hit Netflix series Sense8 as Bug, stars as 17 different characters and plays the harmonica in this solo show coming to L.A.’s Studio C Artists. Returning as part of Theatre Asylum’s Beyond Encore series, which features the best of the Hollywood Fringe Fest, Heart in the ‘Hood tells the true story of Sommers’ culture-shock move from a small town in Vermont to inner-city Oakland through comedy, music and more.
