Award-Winning Emerson String Quartet with Pianist Wu Han at Valley Performing Arts Center

Valley Performing Arts Center – Great Hall (Northridge, CA)

The Emerson String Quartet plays works by Beethoven, Shostakovich and Schumann at the Valley Performing Arts Center. The New York quartet has been together for 35 years and has earned a reputation as one of the world’s premier chamber ensembles, winning nine Grammy Awards and an Avery Fisher Prize, among numerous other honors. For this concert, they’ll be joined by acclaimed pianist Wu Han. Han is married to the Quartet’s cellist David Finckel, and the pair were named 2012 Musicians of the Year by Musical America.
