This saucy new comedy takes an academic term for cause-and-effect — the boomerang effect — and applies it to romantic relationships. Leavitt peeks into the bedrooms of five couples, uncovering a chain of well-intentioned and hilarious disasters. Playwright Matthew Leavitt was a semifinalist in Stephen Sondheim’s Young Playwrights Festival National Playwriting Competition, with his first work called Losers and Fools.
