A man and a woman meet on a train, but face a bumpy track on the way to romance in this funny and touching romance by award-winning playwright Arlene Hutton, who loosely based the story on her parents. Set in 1940, an aspiring writer and a devout young woman sit next to each other on an eastbound trip and discover they’re from neighboring towns in Kentucky. Over the course of the war, the two continue to cross paths, their attraction growing, even as they uncover obstacles on their way to being together.
