American Cinematheque presents a Three Stooges double feature beginning with a 50th anniversary screening of The Three Stooges Meet Hercules, in which the three lovable buffoons take a time machine back to Ancient Greece and encounter one of history’s greatest heroes, with hilarious consequences. The Outlaws is Coming sends the Stooges out West to protest the slaughter of buffalo. Unfortunately, the Western gunslingers aren’t too happy about their activities and the bumbling heroes run afowl of such notables as Wild Bill Hickock, Jesse James and Wyatt Earp. Luckily, the trigger-happy Annie Oakley takes them under her wing and becomes the Stooges’ protector. Learn more…
