In Terrence McNally’s stage adaptation, a group of unemployed steelworkers decide to make money by putting on a striptease act. But these aren’t exactly your typical beefcakes, so what they end up creating is the most unforgettable display of flesh Buffalo, New York has ever seen — all while conquering their inner demons. This touching, funny and crowd-pleasing show was nominated for ten Tony Awards in 2001, including Best Musical.
