The hit musical Little Shop of Horrors comes to L.A.’s studio/stage. Theatre Unleashed will take audiences on a quirkily fun-filled journey to a struggling flower shop where a blood-thirsty plant from another world is eagerly awaiting its next victim. Darkly seductive, tragic and full of twisted humor, Little Shop of Horrors is an onstage homage to the dark cult comedy genre. The third-longest-running show in off-Broadway history and the winner of several Best Musical awards, it was later made into an Academy Award-nominated film starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin. The show’s ’50s and ’60s Motown-style score includes such memorable numbers as “Skid Row,” “Somewhere That’s Green” and “Suddenly Seymour.”
