Thayer Hall at the Colburn School (Los Angeles, CA)

The Salastina Music Society honors the 150th birth year of composer Claude Debussy with a concert entitled Debussy and His World. The program features an unusual arrangement of one of Debussy’s most beloved orchestral works alongside music written by his friends, his competition and his beloved teacher. Guest artists include principal winds and strings from the L.A. Philharmonic (Ariana Ghez, oboe), Pacific Symphony (Ben Smolen, flute and Meredith Crawford, viola), and L.A. Chamber Orchestra (Chris Stoutenborough, clarinet), as well as beloved soprano Elissa Johnston and pianist/Hollywood Bowl Associate Conductor Scott Dunn.
