A trend-setter who’s been instrumental in breaking down barriers between classical and pop, jazz and rock music, cellist Matt Haimovitz debuted as a soloist at age 13 with Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic, and has since performed on some of the world’s great stages, including Carnegie Hall, while also playing at coffeehouses and clubs. Haimovitz teams with the musicians of MUSE/IQUE, along with a rock bassist and a Nobel laureate from Caltech for It’s All About Vibration. Not only will you get to hear some great music, but you’ll also get to scope out the cutting-edge galleries at the Art Center College of Design at a pre-concert reception with wine, mingling and tours.
