Tchaikovsky’s first string quartet features the famous Andante cantabile, a movement based on a Russian folk song that has been popularized in countless arrangements. The concert also includes Bartók’s String Quartet No. 1 and Smetana’s Piano Trio, plus a pre-concert wine reception.
