Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Citywalk (Universal City, CA)
One of the most successful Latin artists of the last two decades hits Hollywood for a special one-night-only show. Mexican pop-rock singer and actress Alejandra Guzmán broke through with her debut disc Bye Mama in 1988, and just two years later, her signature tune “Eternamente Bella (Eternally Beautiful)” soared to No. 1 in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Despite troubles in her personal life in the late ’90s, Guzmán came roaring back in 2002, winning a Latin Grammy Award for her rock album Soy. She had another huge success in ’06 with Indeleble and its smash single “Volverte a amar (Loving You Again)” which hit the top spot on the U.S. Latin Pop chart. After battling back from breast cancer and a botched cosmetic procedure, the beloved “Queen of Rock” rolls on, having racked up sales of 15 million albums and continuing to release hits like 2011’s “Día de Suerte (Lucky Day),” the theme song to a popular Mexican telenovela. Don’t miss the rare chance to see this powerful performer live in concert.
