Alex Theatre (Glendale, CA)

The Glendale Youth Orchestra, under the leadership of maestro Brad Keimach, opens their 24th season with a program of classics by Mozart, Rossini and Beethoven. They’ll begin with the Overture to The Marriage of Figaro. Then Andrew Moses displays his talent as the featured soloist for Rossini’s Theme and Variations for Clarinet and Orchestra. Hillary Santoso takes the helm for the second and third movements of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, popularly known as Emperor. The concert wraps up with Mozart’s Symphony No. 38, Prague. A silent auction will also benefit the esteemed orchestra’s scholarship program.
