Written by Jim Leonard (The Diviners, Battle Hymn), with music by Beth Thornley and Rob Cairns, Bad Apples is a compelling, jarring, beautiful and heartbreaking story that asks how this tragedy in the American “War on Terror” came to be — and what it might say about our conceptions of victims vs. villains, sadism, human nature and more.
