Cinema Italian Style 2012 presents the Los Angeles premiere of two award-winning contemporary Italian films. Winner of Best Film at the Golden Globes Italy, The Entrepreneur (L’Industriale) tells the story of Nicola, a factory owner whose financial troubles begin to strain his marriage with his wealthy wife. Magnifica Presenza is a comedic drama that centers around Pietro, a young, gay pastry chef and would-be actor who moves in with a theater troupe of eccentric ghosts that aid him with his love life. Between the film screenings, there will be a discussion with actress Carolina Crescentini (The Entrepreneur), actor Andrea Bosca (Magnifica Presenza) and actress Claudia Potenza (Magnifica Presenza). Both films are in Italian with English subtitles.
