Ganesh Versus the Third Reich begins with Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu god often worshipped as the Remover of Obstacles. Ganesh is on a mission through Nazi Germany to reclaim the ancient Hindu symbol of the swastika and restore it to its proper context. This poignant and disarming drama tells its tale with theatricality and wit, inviting the audience to think deeply about the ethics of cultural appropriation and responsibility of storytellers.
