Track 3 is Theatre Movement Bazaar’s modern re-envisioning of the Chekhov classic Three Sisters. This new work, which uses movement, dance, song and humor to derail the 1901 work from its Victorian origins, features a cast of characters who feel stranded, waiting and wanting something outside of themselves to bring them happiness. Billed as a modern-day “existential extravaganza,” Theatre Movement Bazaar’s Track 3 ultimately explores themes that were as relevant in Chekhov’s day as they are today. This highly original work was created by Theatre Movement Bazaar’s principal artists Tina Kronis and Richard Alger.
