As part of a pre-festival special event, a true pioneer of queer cinema, Barbara Hammer will showcase her rich creative layering of film, politics and performance in Witness: Palestine. Barbara Hammer has created a work of startling intimacy and urgency using contemporary accounts of Palestinians living under occupation. Projected on to a group of volunteers from the audience adorned in white t-shirts and masks, the participants become the physical screens that embody the stories. This powerful performance will be live at the AGOs Jackman Hall on Friday, April 5 @ 7 PM. Tickets: $10 general / $5 students, seniors, members
