Griffith Park Old Zoo (Los Angeles, CA)

The only thing better than spending a spring afternoon in the park is an afternoon in the park watching Shakespeare, comedy and vaudevillian entertainment! This special performance, with proceeds benefiting the Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival, features special guest John C. Reilly performing with ISC house band Dr. Pinch and the Pinchtones. And that’s not all — there’s also the hilarious fake Hollywood lounge act The Lampshades, with Kate Flannery of The Office, Scot Robinson of Anchorman and Helen Slater of Smallville. Amateur actors Nick Bottom and the Rude Mechanicals will perform their own version of Macbeth, and lots of singers, jugglers, contortionists and other performers make this a show you won’t want to miss. Pack a picnic, roll up a blanket and head to the park for Vaudeville in the Park.
