The Tony Award-winning musical Monty Python’s Spamalot is coming to taunt Santa Monica this summer in a production at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre. Based on the classic comedy film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and written by original Python Eric Idle, Spamalot follows the bumbling Knights of the Round Table on their quest for the Holy Grail. During their comedic adventures they get sidetracked by unexpected events, including confrontations with rude Frenchmen, killer rabbits and flying cows. They handle it all without missing a beat in the hilarious dialogue and even find time to participate in show-stopping musical numbers.
