Doma Theater Company stages this musical adaptation of Italian director Federico Fellini’s 8 ½, a comic masterpiece of autobiographical filmmaking. Nine delves into the mid-life crisis of a world-famous Italian film director as he faces and reflects on the numerous women in his life and prepares to shoot his latest picture, the aptly titled Casanova. The show debuted on Broadway in 1982, winning five Tonys, including Best Musical, and the 2009 film adaptation, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and others, was nominated for four Academy Awards.
