The environments of our society affects the internal growth of how one perceives their surroundings in relation to the self. It is the human condition that dwells on questions of doubt, curiosity, and the meaning of life. Fear develops and is not ceased until a realization is made that oneself created it. The fears of rejection, isolation, and failure are a lack of understanding, but is a natural process to find inner balance. Urban Angst invites all viewers to have a look inside the inner complexities and emotions that emerge from our cultural structure. All experiences, both positive and negative, are unique and is what molds our identity. Within a range from chaotic to harmonious work, this group exhibition presents the consumption of the self, how we deal with this consumption, and the results of ending it.
