Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle Team Up for a Ghost Hunt in Flim Flam
Malibu Playhouse (Malibu, CA)

Harry Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle go in search of ghosts as the ultimate investigative team in the new play Flim Flam: Houdini and the Hereafter. Inspired by actual events, the play takes place in 1922 as the great escape artist and the famed creator of Sherlock Holmes are tasked by the Scientific American committee to investigate psychic mediums. But when Conan Doyle declares a beautiful and seductive psychic is authentic, there’s a hiccup in the duo’s friendship. Houdini, an avid debunker of the paranormal, is determined to prove the woman is a phony — until she appears to make contact with his beloved dead mother.
